About the Job

Exacta Solutions is currently representing a client seeking a skilled Senior Back-end Developer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in back-end development with proficiency in the latest technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial back-end software development, including Java/Kotlin, PHP, and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end components.
• Design and build REST web services.
• Implement and optimize real-time transactional systems.
• Design and implement micro-service architecture.
• Collaborate using Atlassian Jira/Confluence system.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Educational Background: MS/BS degree in Computer Science or related work experience.
• Software Development Experience: Proven hands-on software development experience.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Experience in real-time applications and transactional critical systems.
  • Proficiency in Java/Kotlin frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of micro-service architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • AWS knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of message-driven architecture.
  • Proven experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence system.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Online Gaming (Sportsbetting, Casino Games, Lotteries, e-Sports).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Familiarity with blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
