Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle database systems.
• Perform regular database maintenance, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and efficiency.
• Create and maintain database documentation, including data models, schemas, and procedures.
• Collaborate with application developers and stakeholders to design and implement efficient database solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and incidents.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of the data.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in database administration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, specifically focused on Oracle database systems.
• Advanced Oracle Database Administration for Enterprise critical production databases, versions 11g, 12c, 19c.
• Strong Exposure on other cluster ware technologies like PCS Cluster with Pacemaker, HACMP etc.
• Proficient in managing Large to Very Large databases.
• Strong exposure on Oracle RAC, Data Guard, One Node RAC.
• Strong exposure on Oracle Database Vault, Data Redaction, Encryption.
• Advanced RMAN backup and restoration, Point in time recovery, Flashback, Flashback queries.
• Strong exposure on PDB's and CDB's migrating from legacy DB's to PDBs and PDB's to general DB's.
• Strong exposure to Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c, 13c. installation administration configuring enterprise alerts.
• Excellent in data guard skills switch over, failovers, cascaded standby for critical production databases.
• Strong experience in Golden gate, switch over's using GG replication with zero downtime, Advanced GG troubleshooting.
• Advanced skills in Database Performance Tuning and Diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Exposure on table partitioning, sub-partitioning, online table redefinition.
• Experience in advanced shell/pl-sql scripting to assist in automating the database administration and monitoring tasks.
• Preferable Skills: Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA) backup appliance administration, Apache Cassandra Administration.
