Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized environments, and provisioning cloud resources. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Containerization: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage containerized environments efficiently.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform and Ansible to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Collaboration: Work with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Security: Continuously improve security posture by implementing best practices and conducting regular security assessments.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing to drive innovation within the team.

Requirements

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience:

  • Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services and experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.

• Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

• Communication Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
