Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, particularly AngularJS and Node.js.
• Experience with REST services and connecting to databases like MongoDB, MS SQL, Oracle DB, MySQL.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience working in an agile methodology.
• Experience deploying Node.js applications to cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Exposure or experience in Smart contract development/maintenance/integration.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.
• Contribute to team and delivery improvements in process and infrastructure.
• Support front-end developers in building customer-facing UI and back-end services for payment processing administration and management.
• Code, test, and operate Node.js based services.
• Utilize tools to identify and fix defects before they become issues.
• Develop and maintain all server-side components.
• Ensure optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Collaborate with front-end developers on integration of elements.
• Design customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
• Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Run diagnostic tests, repair defects, and provide technical support.
• Document Node.js processes, including database schemas, and prepare reports.
• Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies.
• Stay informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
