Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain smart contracts for gaming and DeFi platforms on Base and other EVM chains.
• Rapidly prototype new ideas and concepts, testing their viability in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces and robust back-end systems for high-traffic blockchain applications.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure seamless integration of blockchain technologies.
• Maintain high standards of security and create scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, enhance software architecture, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
• Stay abreast of new developments in blockchain, Layer 2 solutions, and cryptographic methods.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability with a focus on user security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Layer 2 solutions, particularly Base, and understanding their unique characteristics.
• Strong background in both frontend (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend development.
• Experience with Web3.js or Ethers.js for integrating EVM smart contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments and deliver small, iterative experiments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in on-chain game development or DeFi applications.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or active participation in blockchain communities.
• Knowledge of test-driven development and deployment using Hardhat, or similar frameworks.
