As the Mobile Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for steering Bayut and dubizzle's automated testing activities in order to ensure that the highest quality and standards are maintained for all our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and evolve the culture of Test Automation across the dubizzle products to handle complexity.
• Agreeing standards and defining quality procedures in conjunction with other QA team members.
• Provide a framework for the development team to define the quality standard using techniques such as code coverage analysis, acceptance criteria, etc.
• Enhance build pipelines and help the team to move forward towards continuous delivery (CD).
• Write and maintain automated tests across the test pyramid.
• Plan and execute different types of tests using test strategies like agile testing quadrants and Heuristic Test Strategy Model.
• Own the quality standards of the dubizzle platform by continuously innovating. Strive towards reducing the time-to-release metric while ensuring bug-free release.
• Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance.
• Mentor other QA Engineers in automation tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering managers and developers to streamline the process of testing, building, and release.

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Experience:
  • Test automation engineer with 3+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with setting up Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with writing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Mobile test Automation.
  • Experience in test automation for an event-driven, service-oriented architecture is a plus.
  • Strong insight into automated testing using more than 2 frameworks.
• Technical Skills:
  • Practical knowledge of Appium and Selenium with various bindings like Python, Ruby, Java, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadUI.
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, or Swift.
  • Test frameworks which support BDD, such as Cucumber and Lettuce behave.
  • Build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Make, and Rake.
  • Web app automation tools such as Selenium/WebDriver.
  • Mobile app automation tools such as Appium, XCUITest.
  • In-depth working knowledge of continuous integration tools/tech such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Bamboo.
