Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Software Developer to join our team in the 3PL Logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Odoo development, customization, and integration, along with the ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions tailored to the logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Customization:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules to meet business requirements in the 3PL Logistics industry.
• Create and modify existing modules, workflows, and reports.

Integration:

• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external systems relevant to logistics operations.
• Develop and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to Odoo.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of Odoo instances.

Requirement Analysis:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Code Quality and Documentation:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Ensure proper documentation of development processes and code.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

• Provide training and support to end-users.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software development.
• At least 3 years of experience in Odoo development, preferably in the logistics or 3PL industry.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Python programming language.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo framework and architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Odoo.sh platform.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Prior experience in the 3PL Logistics industry.
