Doo Group is looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to oversee our UAE office's technological infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our IT systems and ensuring the smooth functioning of our technology-related processes. Responsibilities

• Assist in technical support and helpdesk support activities when necessary.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain work tools including hardware, software, network, and related licenses for new and existing employees.
• Set up and administer mobile phones and office phone usage.
• Perform system performance health checks, monitoring, and support for server and network infrastructure to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and system uptime delivery.
• Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, configuration, and resolve server and network hardware, software, and technical issues as required.
• Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT Manager.
• Manage and source new IT equipment, services, licenses, and product warranty renewals, and ensure IT asset records, knowledge base, and configurations are always updated.
• Collaborate proactively with other team members or external service providers to resolve technical issues.
• Complete any other assignments or tasks and relevant IT projects as assigned, according to given timelines and expected quality.
• Provide on-site/remote support for remote sites/offices as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct superior.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another IT-related field.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the IT field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, Microsoft Server OS, AD, M365, Cloud computing (Azure/AWS), Veeam, Huawei, MDM solutions, WLC, firewalls, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Soft Skills:
  • Able to learn quickly, multitask, stay well-organized, and excel in time management while handling tight deadlines and working as a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and user handling skills with the ability to manage user expectations and communicate technical details at all levels.
  • Being organized, proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
• Language Proficiency: Proficient in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
