Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and engineering teams to deliver value and exceptional user experiences.
• Own and ship end-to-end reliable, scalable, and maintainable software for a peer-to-peer payment app.
• Design and build a cloud-native platform focusing on monitoring, observability, security, scalability, elasticity, and testing.
• Improve CI/CD workflows to reduce time-to-market for new features.
• Code review and mentorship for other engineers.
• Contribute to shaping the engineering culture by introducing best practices and knowledge-sharing.

• Proficiency in writing clean, high-quality, testable, reusable, and well-documented code.

• Experience in developing software, particularly systems handling financial transactions.
• Proficiency in Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, or Kafka.
• Experience in shipping and maintaining complex backends.
• Knowledge of outage management or security.
• Willingness to live in or relocate to the UAE.
