Job Description

Position: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct web-based and mobile-based testing for high-traffic websites and client/admin portals.
• Execute comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured checklists, test plans, and test cases to ensure adequate testing of development code prior to release to production.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
• Create and conduct automated testing of software applications, including integration and regression testing.
• Build product test strategies, write and execute test plans, file bugs using Jira, and communicate with the team about issues, risks, and product quality.
• Participate in the review of requirements and design documents to ensure testability.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triggering of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
• Document testing results and create test reports for various stakeholders, including senior management.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, driving the adoption of best practices and standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in software testing, staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance in an agile environment with a background in cryptocurrency.
• Knowledge of Web services and API Testing Tools (Postman, SOAP UI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
