Technical Lead / Architect Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• FIT Payments Application Architect:
  • Develop and enhance applications, run software tests, create prototypes, and document technical aspects.
  • Evaluate and recommend application technologies suitable for the bank's needs.
  • Train team members in programming and software design.
  • Create and review technical documents for applications, including architecture, design steps, integration processes, and testing procedures.
  • Collaborate with in-house and partner teams to ensure successful software production.
  • Offer solutions for various systems and architectures, custom or off-the-shelf, to meet business needs.
  • Coordinate integration architecture and work with integration architects for seamless integration of new and existing systems.
  • Architect solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct application assessments and develop application roadmaps.
  • Prepare project and application reports.

Skills Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical lead or application architect in designing, developing & deploying mission-critical 24x7 applications in banks/financial services
• FIT Payments expertise
• UAE Banking experience, in particular strong knowledge on UAE Central Bank FIT program.
• Payments domain: CB UAE FIT, UAE FTS, SWIFT, CBDC, and other payment rails
• Architecture: 5+ years of experience developing solution architecture for payment applications
• Cloud experience
