Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Unreal Engine Developer to join our team and play a key role in the development of our cutting-edge metaverse platform. As an Unreal Engine Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing gameplay features and systems using Unreal Engine 5. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Unreal Engine development, proficiency in C++ and Blueprints, and a strong understanding of the game development process.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement gameplay features and systems using Unreal Engine 5.
• Develop and maintain code in C++ and Blueprints to create high-quality, performant, and scalable game systems.
• Implement network programming, physics, animation, UI/UX, meta sounds, and AI functionality within the Unreal Engine.
• Utilize procedural techniques within Unreal Engine to create dynamic and immersive experiences.
• Debug and optimize code to ensure smooth performance across various platforms and hardware configurations.
• Work closely with artists, designers, and other team members to integrate assets and implement gameplay features according to design specifications.
• Collaborate with team members using GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Unreal Engine development and incorporate new technologies and best practices into our projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Unreal Engine Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient with C++ and Blueprints in Unreal Engine.
• Strong knowledge of the game development process and 3D game engines.
• Understanding of network programming, physics, animation, UI/UX, meta sounds, and AI within the Unreal Engine.
• Experience with procedural techniques inside Unreal Engine.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Python or JavaScript (not required but beneficial).
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 is a plus.

Salary Range

• AED 9,000 - 15,000 depending on experience and skills.
